Community Based Tourism Triple Tee Adventures is a proud advocate for the eco-friendly industry and the conservation of the green environment.
Specifically, we fund and empower the underprivileged youth – the refugees in Kiryandongo refugee camp in Uganda; by training them to make handicraft products from handmade Eco-friendly paper.
This handmade paper is made out of organic plant waste materials like banana fibers and recycled paper as some of the raw materials.
These youth use this very paper to make several products that the youth and women in the camps can sell to sustain their livelihoods in one way or another.
Ask yourself, why recycled paper?!
Here is the thing about this paper:-
Whichever way the products of this paper are discarded, it will still rot and decay, instead of polluting the environment in addition to acting as food for microorganisms in the environment and soil.
Say goodbye to Polythene and Plastics clogging trenches and polluting the environment; because this recycled paper is environmentally friendly, and the raw materials are readily available, which calls for each one of us to be able to conserve the environment for sustainability reasons and assurance of a more secure tourism industry, healthy future plus stable climatic conditions.
Lastly, the byproducts of the paper recycling process are used to make briquettes as a source of energy for cooking, heating and many other purposes to cut down on the cost of charcoal and the rate of deforestation in the current environment where degradation is taking place at a very high rate country.
LET US WORK TOWARDS PROFITS; PART OF WHICH ARE GIVEN BACK TO THE COMMUNITIES TO CONTRIBUTE TO SELF SUSTAINABILITY IN THE LONGTERM AND WHO HAVE A PASSION FOR A GREEN ENVIRONMENT.
