Budongo is one of the serving natural forests in the country and well known for its great abundance of Mahogany in the whole of East Africa. It’s located in Murchison Falls which is the largest National Park in Uganda. Budongo forest has numerous primates that can affordably be visited including the chimpanzee which is the major activity .The chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes) are one of the four great Apes next to Gorillas’ and orangutans. They are known for being human being closest brothers as they share 98 percent of their genetics with us. In addition you will be able to see other primates like the Red tailed monkey, Black &White Colobus and also over 360 bird species 290 butterflies,130 moths,465 tree species and 24 mammals.

5 Days /4 Nights

Day 1

Upon arrival, Triple Tee Adventures driver guide will pick you from Entebbe Airport and you will embark on a tour around Entebbe Town depending on the time of arrival. Entebbe has many enticing and beautiful sights and sounds like the Majestic Entebbe Botanical Gardens, Wildlife Education Centre (Zoo) among others. Thereafter you are transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Hotel of choice

Day 2

After Breakfast we shall set off for Budongo Forest. On the way we shall have a stopover at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. While here, we shall experience nature at its best as we have our lunch with the sanctuary’s endowment of different bird species and beautiful scenery. We shall then embark on a tour to see the only Intra-African White Rhinos in Uganda. You will also be able to encounter paths with the Uganda Kob, Reed Bucks, Oribis, Hippos and Crocodiles. Later, we shall set off to Budongo where you will retire to your place of rest for the night.

Day 3

You will wake up early morning to a sumptuous breakfast and prepare your tools for the track. Chimpanzee tracking is usually done in the morning since it is the time they are most active and also advantageous since the animals are either still in their sleeping nests, active or the footprints are still very visible. We shall then have lunch and proceed to view the spectacular Murchison Falls which is believed to be the World’s Most Powerful Waterfall standing at 45 meters. Enjoy the cool breeze as you chill and take selfies at the top of the falls and later return to your lodging for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Wake up to a continental breakfast as you prepare for the experience of a lifetime in the Largest and Oldest National Park in Uganda. This exhilarating game drive will enable you to spot the Oribis, bush bucks, jackals, hartebeests, Bohor reed bucks, hyenas, giraffes, lions, leopards, antelopes, elephants and the Uganda Kob to mention. After the drive, you will settle for a delicious lunch at the lodge of your choice and prepare to set off for the luxurious boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will be able to see buffaloes, crocodiles, hippos, elephants plus lots of water birds in the likes of fish eagles, herons, bee-eaters, cormorants, kingfishers, ducks, skimmers, the rare shoebill and more species spotted from the calm sailing boat. After this voyage cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
