Our 9 Day Best of Uganda Wildlife Safari is for those that would love to trek gorillas in Bwindi  National Park, and catch a glimpse of the distinctivly unique wildlife in each of Uganda’s Top National Parks.

From Kampala city - Murchison falls National Park

You will be picked from your hotel for a drive on pleasantly planned safari heading northward on a journey that allows you a lunch stop in Masindi town before proceeding to the Murchison falls. Along the way you will encounter variety of birds, monkeys, and baboons. Upon arrival at the park, you will have a late afternoon drive to the top of the Murchison falls, will have dinner and stay over night

Activities in Murchison Falls National Park.

Breakfast will be served, and as the sun rises  a game drive that will enable you to see some Giraffe, lions, Elephants, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck hyena and if your lucky, the leopard then lunch and in the afternoon you will transfer for a three hours boat ride this is a chance for you to see more birds species and animals like: - crocodiles, hippopotamus and elephants, before retire to your hotel for dinner and overnight

Murchison falls National Park – Kibale forest National Park

Albertine Rift Valley and Fort Portal on the shadow of the Mountains of the Moon: (Murchison falls - Kibale National Park. (Fortportal town) 379km, drive time 8hrs without stopovers)

After breakfast, drive from Murchison Falls NP heading Southwest via the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima and reach the colorful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon,” the Rwenzori. Have lunch. Later proceed for dinner and overnight

Kibale Forest national park. – Queen Elizabeth National park

Breakfast shall be served at you hotel or lodge this morning, as your guide will transfer you to the park headquarters of  Kibale Forest renowned place for the greatest variety  and highest concentration of primates in East-Africa. Leave KibaleForest / Fort portal after your lunch to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon via Kasese town to refuel your cars while enjoying the views of Mountain Rwenzori if the skies are clear (Mountain Rwenzori which is the highest mountain in Uganda with an altitude of 5109 m also known as Mountains of the Moon), arrive the park, while you enjoy the game, check in to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Early at 6:00am, your guide will take you for a game drive on the plains of Queen Elizabeth NP, with thousands of Ugandan Kobs, lions, elephants Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena and many more. Also on the programme is a two hours launch trip at 2:00PM after you lunch on the Kazinga channel where you will see all the animals from the waterside. In the evening we will go on a late evening game drive to the mating grounds of the Uganda Kobs. The day ends back at Mweya peninsula, enjoying a great view of the park.

Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi National Park

Drive out of Queen Elizabeth National park at 08:00am heading to Bwindi Forest National Park, as you go through the game park you might spot some animals, for the last gleams as you go through the Switzerland of Africa area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi through the Ishasha sector where you will have an opportunity to see the tree climbing lions (chance) arrival late in the afternoon for your Lunch, dinner and overnight

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

This day is gorilla tracking, that starts at 7:45am you will receive a pre-briefing and at 8.30am you will start the gorilla trek. The guides will then take you through the bush pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. (This trek can take from half an hour to 5 hours – a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes) Sit in the forest among the gorillas, Lunch shall be served at your accommodation; If you have the energy this afternoon, take a guided walk that will take you through briefing from the guide before heading to the village / cultural walk that is managed by the local community and the proceeds received here are ploughed into the community to improve on their welfare (your are encouraged to donate to help the communities). The walk introduces you to a number of interesting sites such as a typical rural homestead, a visit to the local traditional healer, banana beer brewing demonstration site and to the Orphanage school,  continue the walk to the Pygmies known here as the Batwa, return to visit some engraving handicraft shops opportunity to buy some souvenirs. Return later to your accommodation for dinner and overnight

From Bwindi National Park – Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, depart Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park. Have a stop over in Mbarara for Lunch and proceed to Lake Mburo have a game drive while entering the park. Lake Mburo National Park is a savannah park and has marked different fauna to other parks and Reserves, it is the best place in the country to see the gigantic Eland Antelope, as well as Zebra, Top, Impala, and several Acacia associated birds. The five Lakes within the park attract Hippos, Crocodiles, and a variety of water birds, while fringing swamps hide secretive papyrus specialists such as the sitatunga Antelope and red, Black and yellow papyrus Gonalek. Have an evening game drive and overnight
